Gregory W. Hanson, D.O., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Hanson has been board-certified in pediatrics since 2019. He grew up in Dallas-Fort Worth before he attended The University of Texas at Austin to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and a certificate in Business Foundations. After college, he moved back to Fort Worth to earn his medical degree at The University of North Texas Health Science Center – Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine where he was interested in leadership, mentorship and campus sustainability. He moved to San Antonio to complete residency training in Pediatrics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. During residency, his interests included increasing continuity of care, minimizing medical errors and reducing patient wait times. Dr. Hanson has been on the Board of Directors for the Autism Community Network since 2021. Dr. Hanson’s wife is a hospitalist at the Audie L. Murphy VA as well as adjunct faculty for UT Health San Antonio. Together, they have two boys, Ezra born in 2015 & Alden born in 2022, and one girl, Ingrid born in 2019. As a family, they love the beach, cooking together and going to the zoo. Dr. Hanson welcomes both English and Spanish-speaking families.
