Shelly M. McNair, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Dr. Shelly McNair is a board-certified pediatrician associated with Southwest Children’s Center since 1998. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Illinois in 1987. She attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine and completed residency training at Wilford Hall USAF Residency Program. Dr. McNair spent her first year after residency as the Chief of Residents and then went on to become a Staff Pediatrician at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center where she was the Assistant Chief of the Pediatric Clinic, Chief of Adolescent Medicine, Director of Medical Student Education and Director of Chronic Ear Clinic, as well as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at USUHS Bethesda, Maryland. Since 1998, Dr. McNair has been proudly serving the patients and parents of Southwest Children’s Center. She is married with three children. She enjoys gourmet-cooking, reading; spending time with dear friends and watching her children become adults.
